The MOVE Command moves card(s) from one area to another.
MOVE Range FROM Area, Card Stats TO Area STORE variable CAUSE Method
TO takes parameters Area, to give the place where the card(s) will be moved, and any Card Stats to affect how the cards appear when they are moved (For example, Face:Down can make sure a card is Special Summoned Face-Down instead of the default face-up).
TO is not necessary when in a Condition.
CAUSE takes the parameter Method to provide details about how the card(s) were moved ---- whether by Special Summon, Destroy, Banish, Discard, etc. It can also take Card Stats (For example, if a WATER monster was Tribute Summoned...)
Multiple CAUSE statements are allowed --- in this case, the second CAUSE statement describes the first one. See example below.
( MOVE Range:1 FROM Area:Field TO Area:Grave CAUSE Method:Tribute CAUSE Method:Tribute Summon)
^^^^^ The above example describes a card MOVEing to the Grave by being Tributed for the Tribute Summon of another monster.
STORE will store the card(s) in a variable. It only stores the command right before it.
MOVE Range:1 FROM Area:Field TO Area:Grave STORE MovedCardVar ---Stores moved card
MOVE Range:1 FROM Area:Field TO Area:Grave CAUSE Method:Tribute CAUSE Method:Tribute Summon STORE TributeSummonedCardVar ---Stores tribute summoned card.
